Mitsui from Mexico is interested in installing a new plant in Sonora

The governor of Sonora, Alfonso Durazo Montaño, held a meeting with directors of the company Mitsui de México, who announced their interest in installing a plant in said entity.

The company of Japanese origin had its first establishment on Mexican soil in 1955. Mitsu's impact covers various sectors with special emphasis on energy, water treatment, steel, chemicals, automotive and food.

At the meeting, the different industrial development scenarios that the state has in the areas of infrastructure, industrial parks in collaboration with the private sector, energy and mining sectors, agroindustry marketing and capital were presented.

Its main business areas in Mexico are; manufacturing of iron and steel products, chemicals, food business, projects and infrastructure, mobility businesses and mineral and metal resources.
