Microsoft's own construction project has already begun with the hiring of personnel, where it will start with three "availability zones", each with its own data center of between 2.4 and 3 megawatts with redundant links and energy to offer the portfolio complete from Microsoft.

Querétaro offers ideal conditions, such as geographical location, availability of internet connectivity and electricity, being a focus of investment with a young and talented population with a GDP that is growing every day, from where many foreign, North American and European multinational companies operate. for Mexico and Latin America, highlights the manager.

The company cites that within 10 years it is projected that Mexico will go from being "the 14th or 15th economy in the world" to being the eighth, with a GDP of 4 trillion dollars, equivalent to the current size of Germany.

Despite the creation of the data region, the manager specifies that most of the promised investment has been allocated to the "Future Skills" pillar, with which they have trained 145,000 students in digital skills, have certified 4,000 and have found employment at 700.

They have also opened laboratories in the Intelligence Center of the Autonomous University of Ciudad de Juárez, the Technological Institute of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, the Veracruzana University, and they plan a future one in Guanajuato.

They have also developed artificial intelligence programs to protect endangered endemic species such as pelagic sharks and the “El Carmen” forest reserve.
