It will be possible to extend the useful life of truck tires by reusing the hulls two or three times more. Every time 100 tires are renewed, 2.6 tons of CO2 are not emitted. With this, Querétaro continues to position itself as a pioneer in environmental issues, he added.

This year Michelin also announced the expansion of its plant in León, Guanajuato, with an investment of 400 million dollars and the generation of just over 600 jobs.

In this regard, Mauricio Kuri González, governor of Querétaro recognized that the best social program for a state is to create jobs, for which he expressed his gratitude to the French for opening specialized positions in the region.

For his part, Marco Antonio del Prete Tercero, Secretary of Sustainable Development of the state, explained that Michelin participates in the circular economy chain of the state of Querétaro and its operation is in line with the decarbonization strategy.
