Matro invests 21 million dollars in its growth as a Tier 1 company in Coahuila

Matro, a company of Saltillo origin, will inaugurate a second production plant in the state at the beginning of 2024, which will be located in the Server Industrial Park in the city of Arteaga.

For this project, 21 million dollars will be invested and 810 new jobs will be created directly. The surface will be 10,000 square meters in the first stage and 20,000 square meters in the second.

Alberto Valdez Belmares, manager and owner of Matro, explained that all types of metal stamping will be produced in the new facilities, in addition to the other complex continuing to operate with the same capacity.

With an installed capacity of 11 presses, it seeks to quickly and efficiently serve its clients in the region, among which Magna, Metalsa and HL Mando stand out.

“Our vision is to become the largest company in the region in our field, to be a benchmark for the industry in the state and we have the tools to achieve it,” said the manager.

In that sense, the host announced that in the coming days they will receive their registration as Stellantis suppliers, so they will become a Tier 1 company, and assured that they have all the tools to meet the expectations of their clients.

Valdez Belmares talked about a training center they have on Plant 1 and recognized the first generation of graduates they had in Die Making.

Finally, Alberto Valdez highlights that they will venture into new careers such as industrial design, metrologists, maintenance technicians and robotics so that more people can be trained in an ideal way.
