Although the trend indicates that homes are getting smaller, mainly in large cities where the trend is for residences to be reduced to have more affordable costs and help densification, the figures say the opposite.

In 2015, the statistics were different as there were more small households. Agency data in 2014 indicate that there were 34.8% of homes between 56 and 100 square meters and 15.9% between 46 and 55 square meters.
