Martinrea International will expand its operations in Querétaro, for which it confirmed an investment of 746.2 million pesos and the generation of 108 new highly specialized jobs.
Martinrea International began operations in 2011, currently has 18,000 employees, of which 7,000 are Mexican and of these, about 1,800 are from Querétaro.
Four years later, the company started operations with a second unit dedicated to the production of aluminum parts with low pressure injection, and a third work center where the necessary tools are manufactured for the processes that the company develops both inside Mexico and abroad.

The co-founder and executive president of the Board of Directors of Martinrea International, Rob Wildeboer, reported on the increase in its workforce, and recognized the talent and skills of Queretaro's workforce.
During their visit to the firm's facilities by the state president, Mauricio Kuri González, and his entourage, they spoke with the directors about the recently consolidated investment projects in Querétaro, the development of local automotive suppliers for the strengthening of the supply chain of Martinrea, as well as the capacities of the entity.
They also shared strategies to strengthen the automotive sector, collaboration opportunities; in addition to addressing support for the energy issue in the Industrial Park Querétaro, where its plants are located.

The head of the state Executive Power expressed that the firm's new project will focus on suspension bridges, engine blocks and transmission casings, and assured that it is one of the companies that every government seeks to reach its state for being fully human, profitable and exemplary for the country.
