According to the Monthly Indicator of Industrial Activity by Federal Entity (IMAIEF) of the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), corresponding to the month of November 2021, the activity of the manufacturing industry in Querétaro increased 7.2%, compared to the same month of the previous year.

Therefore, the contribution of the state to the real total variation of manufacturing industries at the national level was 0.27%, with which the entity is positioned in seventh place, below Hidalgo with 0.36%. For November 2021, the largest contribution was registered by the state of Nuevo León with 0.89%.

In general terms, the contribution to the industrial activity of Querétaro, at the national level, was 0.03%, the growth rate registered an increase of 1.3% compared to October 2021, and -1.2% compared to November 2020.

It should be noted that the activity of the manufacturing industry in Querétaro for the aforementioned month is the only one that presents a growth rate, since the industrial activities of mining, construction and generation, transmission and distribution of electricity, water supply and gas through pipelines to the consumer; show decreases.

The Mining is contracted -2.2% compared to November 2020 with a total real contribution of -0.01%.

The state that registered the highest contribution to this sector in November 2021 was Tabasco (3.18%), followed by Veracruz (0.64%). For its part, the one that registered the lowest contribution was Campeche with (-2.43%).

In the category of Generation, transmission and distribution of electrical energy, supply of water and gas through pipelines to the consumer: Querétaro registered a rate of -4.6% compared to the eleventh month of 2020 and a total contribution for 2021 of -0.11%.

Finally, Construction registered the largest decrease compared to November 2021 (-13.5%), while the total contribution is -0.55%, being one of the five states with the lowest contribution at the national level.
