In order to reinforce processes and meet the growing demand of the current market, the logistics integrator A.P Moller-Maersk announced the opening of a new Global Service Center (GSC), with a reach throughout the Americas, and headquarters in Mexico City, coupled with a satellite center established in Santos, Brazil.
GSCs play a fundamental role in delivering results for clients and allow proper prioritization of activities, as well as decision-making.

“We have always put the needs of our clients and their businesses first, and these new centers allow us to take this ambition to the next level. The GSC in the Americas will have many opportunities to reshape the way teams within Maersk work together and create success through collaboration across borders,” said Mohit Bhatia, Managing Director of Maersk Global Service Centers. Maersk (CSG).
The expectation is that these centers will generate more than 700 new jobs in 2023, with a plan to increase the number to 1,300 by 2025. Regarding operations, the company said that they will be essential to provide assistance in all functions and areas, such as finance, process management, technology and analytics.
Support will be provided to companies according to their needs, in at least three languages: English, Spanish and Portuguese.

GSC competencies have grown in recent years as an integral part of strategic growth. Today, those operated by Maersk interact with multiple stakeholders to enable around 30 million touch points per year, through 100,000 customers.
Among other places where the company has a presence, India stands out, in cities such as Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai and Pune; in China in Chengdu, Chongqing and the Philippines; Also in Morocco.
