With an investment of 20.2 million dollars, the Lear company launched the Lear Seating Structures project in the municipality of Arteaga, Coahuila, from where it will manufacture seating structures to serve the automotive sector.

At the opening ceremony, Óscar Domínguez, Lear's president of operations in Mexico, commented that this is a sign of the consolidation of the company in the southeast region, where they have found a solution to all their concerns.

He also thanked the authorities for their support for providing all the necessary tools to carry out this project.

Meanwhile, Alberto Piñones, Lear's vice president of operations in Mexico, said that the automotive cluster in the state continues to develop, which also represents growth for local suppliers.

Miguel Riquelme Solís, governor of Coahuila, thanked the company for its trust for investing in the entity and offered guarantees in its operations, such as labor peace, first-rate infrastructure, qualified workforce and security.

He stressed that Coahuila has positioned itself as one of the most attractive places to invest, which is why more than 60 thousand jobs have been created in times of pandemic
