
With the goal of strengthening the local integration of the country's auto parts industries, the National Auto Parts Industry (INA) announced the launch of a supplier development project in collaboration with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), an arm of the World Bank.

The INA reported that it is already in the supplier requirements identification phase. The goal is ambitious, as it seeks to integrate more than 50% of participating small and medium-sized businesses to establish direct business relationships with international firms.
According to the organization's estimates, these alliances could increase the operational efficiency of Mexican companies by more than 46%. In addition to underscoring the strength of the sector, the INA emphasized that a large portion of Mexican manufacturers already comply with the rules of origin established by the USMCA.
