JTEKT Automotive Mexico, a Japanese company dedicated to the manufacture of automotive parts, located in San Luis Potosí, announced the investment of 50 million dollars for an expansion of its plant.
JTEKT Automotive Mexico's investment is more than 1,000 million pesos and with this, more than two thousand new direct jobs will be generated for this area of the state of Potosí.

At the same time, production of electronic steering systems (EPS), bearings and intermediate shafts for hydraulic steering for OEM customers installed in Mexico for customers such as Toyota, Mazda, Honda, Nissan, Daimler and BMW is expected to grow.
Currently, Japan is the fifth largest investor in the state, and with these new investments confidence in the Potosí government is consolidated.
