
The Japanese company Uchiyama Manufacturing Corporation inaugurated its first plant in the Mexican territory, it will be located in the Central Business Park in Yucatan.
To carry out this opening, the company made an investment of more than 65 million dollars (1,300 million pesos).
Uchiyama Manufacturing Corporation in the state will produce mechanical, static and dynamic seals or gaskets for the automotive industry.
According to the statement, once its maximum capacity is reached, it will be the company's second largest, only behind the one it has in Vietnam.

During the opening ceremony, Mauricio Vila Dosal, governor of the entity, recalled that as part of his work mission, in 2018 he traveled to Japan and it was there that the letter of intent was signed for the company to settle in the territory; In May 2019, the first stone of the construction was laid.
For his part, Kenzo Uchiyama, president of Uchiyama, affirmed that this corporation trusts Yucatan, for its people and quality of life, aspects that will contribute to the success of this plant.
