Zoho, a technology company, is in the analysis phase for the installation of a data center that will support its operations in Querétaro, where it currently serves the Latin American market, said Zoho's director of Public Relations and Communication for Latin America, Alexander Gonzalez.

Although the location of the data center has not yet been defined, the manager stressed that Querétaro has positioned itself internationally as an ideal destination to receive this type of facility.

“Querétaro has offered us many advantages and benefits that will undoubtedly weigh heavily. There are international studies that show that Querétaro is one of the places in Latin America where it is better to put this type of data center because it is far from the coast, there is no danger of natural incidents, earthquakes and tremors do not have a great incidence here and it is in an economy that is very stable”, he pointed out.

For the company of Indian origin -which specializes in the development of software, cloud services and business applications- the Latin American market is a priority, which is why the need to establish a data center that is close to it has been detected. to his clients.

The possibility of this center being located in this region of Mexico is strengthened by the presence of the firm in Querétaro, where it is expected that in the next quarter it will inaugurate its new building, where it will have capacity for 200 collaborators.

The firm plans to invest close to 10 million dollars in the growth of its operations in Querétaro, the same amount that it invested in the last years of its presence in the state. Once the establishment of the data center is completed, it is expected that the investment amount will be higher.

According to the state government, in Querétaro they are working on the installation of 18 facilities of this type, in which 8.582 million dollars are invested, which will be added to the 10 that are already installed.
