Demand for industrial properties in Guadalajara reports a strong increase in Q2 2024

At the end of the second quarter of 2024, Guadalajara's industrial sector recorded a gross demand of 102 thousand square meters, experiencing a notable increase compared to the same quarter of the previous year, almost tripling the previous figure.

The companies that settled in the Guadalajara market belong to the sectors; logistics, automotive and manufacturing, in their entirety categorized as speculative type projects.

El Salto continues to be the industrial corridor with the greatest interest in the Guadalajara market, as it was the one that concentrated 100% of the transactions that occurred during the quarter, the most important transaction in size occurred in a class A property greater than 38 thousand square meters.

In the same way, the El Salto corridor leads construction activity, since it currently has 6 projects in progress that add up to a total of 127 thousand square meters where 68% are available to be pre-leased. The properties are located in industrial parks; El Salto III Park, Guadalajara Platform Parks and El Salto Flex Park.
