Bosch Mexico confirmed that it will expand the capacity of its Querétaro plant, which is dedicated to the manufacture of automotive technology.
The expansion plan of the company of German origin includes the installation of new high-tech production lines and a warehouse in around 12,000 square meters.
Since its opening in 2017, the Queretaro plant has specialized in the manufacture of mobility solutions such as electronic power steering (EPS). This innovation has driver assistance functions and is a crucial device for road safety.

The expansion will represent an investment of 146 million dollars, which means more than tripling the workforce of the site with the creation of more than 400 new jobs.
Adam Olson, commercial director of the plant, stated that the Bosch Querétaro location has been established as a hub for collaboration, creativity and innovation that will create more opportunities for current and future team members to grow and develop.
For his part, René Schlegel, president of Bosch Mexico, confirmed that this project is one more example of Bosch's commitment to Mexico for the development of high technology.

"It is also a recognition of the high productivity of our associates from Querétaro," he assured.
It should be noted that Bosch Querétaro is located in Aerotech Industrial Park Querétaro, where it began operations in 2017 and currently 299 employees work on site, dedicated to the manufacture of automotive technology such as electronic power steering.
