With an investment of 1.2 billion pesos, the German capital firm BCS Interface Solutions will open its production plant for the automotive sector estimated for the second quarter of 2022, announced the governor of Querétaro, Mauricio Kuri González.
The German firm has a plant in Mexico and will add another in Querétaro, to produce high-tech steering control modules and electrical components.
The state president mentioned that, in Querétaro, the doors are open to growth, where there is certainty, security and support for private initiative.
“Our main heritage that Querétaro has is security and I am not only talking about physical and patrimonial security, but also legal security, in Querétaro we have 22 years without any strike in the private sector and I hope that at least in the next six Let's continue like this for years”, highlighted Kuri González.

It is estimated that the new BCS plant will generate 836 direct jobs for the auto parts industry in the state, the governor added.
The governor added that the German company favors the economic recovery of the state and strengthens, with technology and productive force, one of the industries where it has the greatest leadership in the entire country, providing qualified labor.
"We are very grateful to have the opportunity to invest and grow in Querétaro, favoring the state in the ideal place, for reasons such as the labor market together with logistics and transportation advantages," said the executive director of Strategy and Transformation of BCS, Luis Carlos Gonzalez Jimenez.
He announced that the first project to start at the Querétaro plant, which will be located in the Technological Innovation Park, is for Tesla, which will allow the company to grow substantially.

For his part, the secretary of Sustainable Development, Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero explained that the arrival of the BCS company generates growth in the state and increases the labor supply.
BCS Automotive Interface Solutions has eight plants around the world, two of them in the United States, four in Europe, one in Mexico, one plant in Reynosa, and the second plant in the country will be located in Querétaro.
