Kuka Home expands plant in Monterrey interport with investment of $150 millions USD

With an investment of US$150 million, the expansion of the Kuka Home Mexico plant at the Interpuerto Monterrey, in the municipality of Salinas Victoria, will generate 1,000 jobs.

Accompanied by the Secretary of Economy, Iván Rivas; and the Undersecretary of Investment, Emmanuel Loo, the Governor of Nuevo León, Samuel García Sepúlveda inaugurated the plant of the Asian company dedicated to the production of high-end furniture for the home.

The Governor assured that there is no other metropolitan area in the world that offers the business potential that the Monterrey metropolitan area has.

For his part, The State Secretary of Economy. Iván Rivas said that the projects announced by the Government of Nuevo León are becoming a reality.

Rivas said that during 2024 there are projects of more than 100 companies that are interested in investing around 10 billion dollars in Nuevo Leon, “so we expect a great year as previous years have been,” he said.

The Secretary of Economy explained that these are companies from the automotive, electromobility and information technology sectors, from the United States, China and the rest of the world.
