Koch Industries maintains growth plan in Jalisco with an investment of 150 million dollars

Koch Industries executives held a meeting with the governor of the state of Jalisco, Enrique Alfaro Ramírez, where they reaffirmed their commitment to continue investing in the entity.

The company's vice president, Phillip Ellender, ratified the intention to continue with its growth plan in Jalisco, through which more than 550 new highly qualified jobs will be generated in the next two years.

He highlighted that they decided to move the subsidiary Koch Global Services, which will provide back office services, such as finance, recruitment and technological support, to establish themselves in Guadalajara over other destinations in emerging countries and other cities in Mexico.

This decision recognizes the specialized talent that exists in the state to attend to the operations of the more than 10 companies that operate from Canada to Argentina and Spain, which will increase job creation up to four times over the next four years.

For his part, the general strategic coordinator of Economic Growth and Development of Jalisco, Xavier Orendain De Obeso, highlighted the importance of the Jalisco Tech Hub Act public policy, which allows attracting this type of investment and promotes the development of proprietary technologies with Jalisco talent. .

In 2022, Molex, one of Koch's companies, inaugurated its electronic connectors plant on 120 hectares located in Zacoalco de Torres; with an initial investment of 130 million dollars in a space.

The second stage includes the construction of a new plant with an investment of more than 150 million dollars and is expected to be completed in 2025, in a warehouse of 100,000 additional square meters, which will allow the entity to position itself in the global supply of advanced engineering and large-scale production for solutions for medical devices, electric mobility and smart cell phones.
