The Japanese company of components of the automotive industry continues its bet on Mexican soil with the announcement of expansion in its plant in San Luis Potosí where it will invest 47 million dollars, which makes it the largest project of this firm in the region North American.

The expansion of the plant is estimated between October and November 2021 and seeks to open up to the export market in the United States, Canada and Japan. With this injection of capital, the company reaffirms its commitment to continue developing in Mexico, where it estimates to generate 120 new jobs.

The vice president of JTEKT Automotive Mexico, Silvestre Mendoza, explained that this project had been planned since 2019, but with the expansion of the pandemic they had to wait to develop it.
