Innovation to transform the residential sector drives Skyhaus
Expanasion | September 21, 2021 |

The next two years will be one of expansion for the company, due to an accumulated demand that could not be satisfied as a result of the pandemic.

With the health emergency, the way of life changed and people began to spend more time at home thanks to remote work schemes.

This dynamic caused new needs within the real estate sector and society is now looking for a higher quality home.

In this regard, Federico Cerdas, CEO of Skyhaus, assured that a very clear trend is being seen for real estate developments that allow them to be inhabited with higher quality and comfort conditions.

The house must allow living with the family in a dignified way and where it is possible to move to places without the need for a car or transport to avoid crowds.

Much of the real estate products, including commerce, offices and residences have incorporated structural changes in the products offered and adapt to the new needs of the end customer.

Thus, the developers have as an area of opportunity the creation of more suitable spaces prioritizing ventilation and natural lighting.

Santa Fe or Interlomas will also be replaced by centralization, since people want their home to be close to everything, that is, shopping centers, supermarkets, schools, parks, among others.

Currently, Skyhaus has real estate developments in three municipalities in Mexico City, Miguel Hidalgo, Benito Juárez and Cuauhtémoc, areas where the highest demand is observed after the pandemic.

"We are a great country to do business, the prospects we have for 2021 and 2022 are for growth, despite the great downturn that was registered with COVID-19, they will be years of expansion.

There was a lot of demand that could not be satisfied, that capital that was not spent will be used especially in the real estate area ”, commented the CEO of Skyhaus.

Likewise, the company aims to offer products that give true added value to the customer without directly impacting the environment or the community, since one of the most important factors, as a result of the health crisis, is sustainability.

The amenities that the home has will also be an aspect that will have more and more weight when choosing an apartment or residence.

Deloitte analysts point out that, before the pandemic, it was enough to have a multipurpose room, to name one example; now, these spaces could be redesigned and even become remote work zones.
