Construction starts report more than 250 thousand m² of industrial warehouses in Guadalajara

Demand in the Guadalajara industrial market closed with a strong performance, reaching 248 thousand square meters by the end of the third quarter of 2024.

The construction starts of industrial warehouses in the Guadalajara market reported a rebound at the end of the third quarter of 2024, compared to the previous quarters of the same year, detonating 256 thousand square meters in concentrates in 6 industrial buildings. 

82% of the space that began construction belongs to speculative properties intended to meet market demand, while the remaining 18% are Build To Suit projects, designed to measure and specific client requirements.

The industrial submarket that reported the highest construction start activity was the El Salto submarket with 242 thousand square meters, followed by Zapopan Norte with 13 thousand square meters. 

The development of new buildings that began construction during the third quarter of 2024 is carried out in the industrial parks; El Salto Park III, Plataforma Park, Nextipark and Kampus Santa Rosa 2.
