The Secretariat for Sustainable Development (Sedesu) presented the information from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi) 2022, which showed increases within the manufacturing industry of Querétaro.

As a first point, it was revealed that the sector managed to accumulate a total of 465,352 million pesos (mdp), an increase of 14.2% compared to 2021. Of the accumulated total, the manufacture of transportation equipment was the industry that accumulated the highest production value , with a total of 112,633 million.

Added to this, the manufacture of electrical accessories and appliances contributed 69,529 million pesos, while the food industry made 59,259 million pesos; as well as the chemical sector that contributed 54 million and the paper industry that participated with 36,652 million pesos.

On the other hand, the sale value of the products that were made in Querétaro increased by 16.1% during the year. Because, the manufacturing industry managed to achieve 462,281 million pesos in sales.

Similarly, transportation equipment led transactions with 112,757 million. Likewise, the manufacture of accessories, electrical appliances and electrical power generation equipment occupied the second position with 68,527 million pesos.

However, the statistics highlighted the participation of the rubber manufacturing industry, which managed to sell more than 37.198 million pesos.
