The German group Motan Colortronic, provider of equipment and peripheral systems for handling bulk products, opened its offices in the metropolitan municipality of El Marqués.

The German firm specializes in material handling systems for the plastic industry and seeks to provide its services for the supply of spare parts, repairs, maintenance contracts, support and service coordination.

From the new location, the company hopes to provide flexible services and quick responses to customers throughout Mexico.

The general director of the company in Mexico, Frank Medgyesy, stressed that the installation of this new project in Querétaro is related to having a solid portfolio of clients, in addition to anticipating the development of various projects.

The state secretary for Sustainable Development (Sedesu), Marco Antonio Del Prete, stressed that Querétaro is prepared to receive companies from various countries, and specifically German companies are the third strongest investor for the state.

The secretary specified that during the first two months of the year, the plastic and rubber industry in Querétaro produced 5,679 million pesos, an increase of 23.4% compared to the same period of the previous year.

During the year 2021, it produced 29 thousand 821 million pesos, ranking as the fifth sector with the highest value within the local manufacturing industry.

The governor of Querétaro, Mauricio Kuri González, also stated that the opening of these offices is a reflection of the economic recovery in the entity that has an ideal climate for business and competitive values such as social and labor peace, security, infrastructure growing and developing clusters.
