Impact of nearshoring will benefit peripheral markets in Nuevo Leon

Nearshoring in the Northeast of Mexico will continue for at least 10 years, with Nuevo León as the protagonist; even the state 'monopolizes' 76% of this phenomenon, specialists estimate.

Due to this wave of benefits, García, Pesquería, Zuazua y Ciénega de Flores will be the fastest growing municipalities in Nuevo León, since the peripheries will be cheaper, experts commented.

In the presentation of the study 'Nearshoring. Challenges and opportunities for the integration and strengthening of global value chains in Mexico', the experts highlighted the benefits of nearshoring.

In the presentation of a study by Egade Business School of the Tecnológico de Monterrey, they commented that metalworking, machinery, automotive, medical devices and household goods are the industries that most attract investment to NL.
