Hyundai Polytech expands operations in Coahuila with an investment of 13 million dollars

The auto parts company Hyundai Polytech Mexico will invest 13 million dollars (mdd) to expand its plant located in the Cactus Valley Industrial Park in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, inaugurated in 2019.

With this announcement, the firm will reach an accumulated investment of 24 million dollars; and will generate 120 new jobs, with which it will register a total of 370 collaborators.

This Korean company is a supplier to KIA, Tesla, GM, Ford and Volvo. Its expansion in the region will be dedicated to the manufacture of anti-vibration systems and thermoplastic parts.

As Kwang Shik Kim, director of the company, expressed, the construction of this second plant will be the cornerstone to ensure its competitiveness in the Latin American auto parts industry.

According to what was reported by Miguel Riquelme, governor of Coahuila, this announcement represents the 40th investment project so far in 2023 in the entity.

Since its establishment in 1975, Hyundai Polytech has been engaged in rubber and plastic injection molding of auto parts.
