Honeywell settled in Chihuahua with an investment of 400 million dollars on land whose value is 137.5 million pesos.

The investment will generate 2,000 new jobs when the installation is completed on December 31, 2025 and will allow the industrial development of Chihuahua, as well as the strengthening of the local supply chain.

Jauregui Moreno, Secretary General of the Government of Chihuahua, said that when a company decides to invest, all entities compete to obtain that investment, and that there are states that even condone land with much more value in order to attract investment.

He expressed that it is important to make decisions that promote the creation of jobs in the state and that this action will detonate the supply chain and economic spillover.

“We must emphasize that the company has operations in various parts of our country and that this project evaluated several cities, leaving Chihuahua as its final decision, because it highlights that this city has the factors to carry out this investment, such as economic diversification, supply local and the number of engineers and technicians graduated per year”, said Deputy Alfredo Chávez.
