HIHO Wheel inaugurates plant in Guanajuato

The HIHO Wheel company that produces automotive aluminum wheels will invest 100 million dollars in its plant located in the Chuy María Industrial Park, in Apaseo El Grande, as confirmed during the Governor's tour to Japan and Korea last June.

The President of HIHO Mexico, Kwangseob Lee, said that they have a land of 90 thousand square meters and began the construction of the warehouse in the second half of 2021 and began operations last July to serve the automotive assembly companies in Guanajuato and the center of Mexico.

The complex was inaugurated with an initial investment of 60 million dollars, for the construction of a 45 thousand square meter warehouse and already has 200 operational and administrative workers. The second stage is scheduled for 2025, with an investment of 40 million dollars.

The Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, cut the inaugural ribbon of the HIHO Wheel México company, dedicated to the production of automotive aluminum wheels.

The governor indicated that Guanajuato is already the first national place in vehicle production with a total of more than 725 thousand units, which represents 21.9% of the national total; That is, one of every five cars manufactured in Mexico leaves Guanajuato.
