With an investment of 250 million pesos, Hammond Power Solutions inaugurated on Tuesday, June 19, its fourth plant in Guadalupe Nuevo León, for said property the Canadian firm manufactures electrical transformers, where it will generate 450 new jobs.

The announcement of the investment will always be good news for the state of Nuevo León, but also a commitment to continue working and offer what companies need, words of the Secretary of Economy, Ivan Rivas.

The event was headed by Adrian Thomas CEO of the company and Abraham Macias, plant manager, in addition to the presence of special guests such as the real estate director of ARENDE, Horacio Lozano, the Consul of Canada, Sandra Shadik and the undersecretary of investment Emanuel Loo.

Founded in 1917, its growth is focused on the design and manufacturing of dry-type electrical transformers and related magnetic devices, developing standard products that are built to industry specifications.

They have 11 distribution centers in Canada and the United States and operate from seven facilities in Guelph Ontario; Walkerton Ontario, Baraboo Wisconsin, Monterrey Mexico, Compton California and Granby Quebec.
