Golden Industrial Park begins second stage in Coahuila

Torreón, in the state of Coahuila, takes a step in its industrial development with the start of construction of the second stage of the Golden Industrial Park, located in the Mieleras area, to the east of the city.

Claudio Meléndez, director of the park, announced that this expansion covers an additional 22 hectares, adding to the 25 already existing in the first phase, with a joint investment of 750 million pesos.

The project will include the installation of essential services for the operation of the companies that are established in the park, such as medium voltage electricity and natural gas supply. In addition, there will be a 2.5 kilometer perimeter fence to guarantee the security of the facilities in their entirety.

The governor of Coahuila, Miguel Ángel Riquelme, highlighted Coahuila's success in taking advantage of Nearshoring opportunities and emphasized that the state is distinguished by having positive and solid indicators in security, competitiveness, the rule of law and certainty.
