The 70% share of the construction sector on the direct reactivation of employment is the basis of the momentum exhibited by this economic activity.
For this reason, the capital government presented a series of emergent actions, among which is the disposition not to close any works in process until December of this year and to facilitate another 22 administrative procedures.
The agreements involve different business organizations, such as the National Chambers of the Housing Development and Promotion Industry (Canadevi), the Mexican Chambers of the Construction Industry (CMIC) and the Association of Real Estate Developers (ADI).
The first action is the Automatic Extension of Procedures, whose objective is to facilitate 22 administrative processes related to construction, where the re-notification license, subdivision or merger license, Urban Impact opinion, Special Construction license and Construction Manifestation registration stand out. Type A.
Seduvi reported that the second action is the Paseo de la Reforma Avenue Facility Agreement, where the projects will have a registration deadline before December 31, 2021.

The secretary explained that at the moment 27 projects have been registered, 24 of them on Reforma Avenue, of which an investment of 9,000 to 14,000 million pesos is projected, while in urban infrastructure works from 400 to 750 million calculated, as well as a generation of 18 thousand direct jobs and 11 thousand 800 indirect jobs.
The third action is the Agreement of facilities to the Tacubaya Cooperation Action System, which consists of establishing a registration deadline before December 31, 2021.
The authorized projects will have facilities to start construction immediately, and once registered they must complete their administrative regularization procedures before December 31, 2022.
It should be noted that the urban integration works go directly to CETRAM Tacubaya, to housing and to the improvement of two markets in the area.

The fourth emerging action corresponds to the Administrative facilities for the construction of houses, hospitals and schools, an agreement with the Ministry of the Environment was published on August 4 in an edition in the Official Gazette so that its construction can begin with the registration and land use.
The deadlines for compliance are: registration within three months following the publication of the notice; start of works and activities, from six months to 1 year, depending on the project's construction meters and regularization.
The scope of application of these facilities is the entire territory of the capital, with the exception of Iztapalapa, Iztacalco, Tláhuac, Xochimilco and Milpa Alta, demarcations where there is a lack of water.
Regarding the fifth emergent action, on Administrative facilities for the realization of real estate projects in primary roads, it was reported that the registration of the projects will take place within three months of the publication of the notice.
The start of works and activities is from six months to 1 year, depending on the construction meters of the project and the regularization before December 31, 2022.
The sixth axis concerns the Promotion of the regularization of businesses through recognition of activity, where the figure of land use will be created for people who carry out activities in micro or small businesses, services and low-impact industries of up to 200 square meters of built surface .
The seventh emerging action is the Granting of facilities for the construction of inclusive, popular and worker housing.
The eighth action is carried out on the Conversion of offices to housing, where they will grant tax benefits to promote the transition.
Regarding the ninth emerging action corresponding to the Suspension of closures by Invea, which will apply until December 2021, only warnings will be made for regularization; However, violations of land use, damage to classified properties and those located in areas of imminent risk classified by Civil Protection are not exempt from closure.
According to the Government of Mexico City, to date 12 construction projects have started with 1,155 homes (125 inclusive) with a total investment of 1,444.5 million pesos and 85,619 square meters of construction.

Through the Urban Regeneration and Inclusive Housing Program, five projects are being implemented with an investment of 898 million pesos and the generation of 3,003 direct and 3,301 indirect jobs.
Through the Housing Program for Workers, 13 projects are being built with an investment of 936.7 million pesos and the generation of 2,325 direct and 2,554 indirect jobs.
Through the Popular and Social Housing Program there are 78 projects under development and an investment of 10,419.1 million pesos and the generation of 33,290 direct jobs and 36,589 indirect ones.
