Fränkische is a German family company founded in 1906, and that in the 21st century has placed its trust in Mexican territory and the hands of our people.
Last Sunday, June 19, they celebrated their ten years in the country with the inauguration of their second plant in Silao, Guanajuato, and the Industrial Cluster was exclusively part of the event.
It was in 2011 when the construction of the first plant of this company in Mexico began, inaugurated in April 2012. At that time, they had 3072 square meters of construction and approximately 10 employees, "we started with 2 extrusion lines and their main products were tubes for cable protection and for fluid transmission.

At this moment we are more than 1300 employees, with more than 37,000 square meters of extension and more than 20 extrusion lines, more than 5 ovens and more than 200 assembly stations”, the German company informs us.
Although the industrial site's market is to work for the internal combustion automotive industry, its main clients are dedicated to the manufacture of electric cars, to which the new plant built in Guanajuato is directed.

This new plant has an investment amount of more than 12 million euros in a built area of 18,000 m2 and a total area of 21,000 m2.
With this new ship they plan to add 200 new direct jobs at the end of this year and approximately another 500 in the following 2 years.
The plant estimates to start operations in July 2022 dedicated to manufacturing cooling systems for electric cars and their batteries, aimed at Tesla.
