Foxconn announces construction of mega factory in Jalisco

Foxconn announced the construction of a mega factory in Jalisco, the announcement was made by Foxconn in Taipei, where Benjamin Ting, the company's senior vice president, commented that they will install their largest plant on the planet in Mexico, in which they will produce super chips of the GB200 model for the company Nvidia.

With this investment, Mexico will position itself as the headquarters of the global technology industry. Enrique Alfaro, former governor of the state of Jalisco, expressed on his social networks the importance of the arrival of Foxconn to the entity, "Jalisco was already a hub for innovation and training of specialized talent in Latin America, now with the giant's new plant in Super chips worldwide, Jalisco is confirmed as the land of semiconductors.

According to Alfaro, it took Jalisco 3 years to obtain this investment. This news means a before and after in the electronics industry and gives meaning to all our efforts in the public policy of the Jalisco Tech Hub Act.
