The American technology companies Sanmina and Flex announced investments for the Entity during the economic promotion tour carried out by authorities of the Government of Jalisco, through the State of California, in the United States (EU).

Sanmina, a company dedicated to the manufacture of electronic components, will invest 216 million dollars (MDD), which will create around two thousand jobs.

For its part, Flex announced the expansion of its operations within the automotive industry in the State.

It will build a new state-of-the-art plant of 26 thousand square meters that will serve as the strategic automotive manufacturing center in the region, where advanced electronic components will be made that will accelerate the era of electric and autonomous vehicles, with an investment of 100 million dollars. MDD and the generation of three thousand jobs.

Also, the HP company announced the generation of 400 highly specialized and paid jobs for its Zapopan plant, and is working together to define the long and medium-term investment plan.
