FINSA announces the arrival of 5 European companies to its parks

FINSA announced the arrival of five European companies to three of its industrial parks located in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, and in Aguascalientes capital.

The investments total more than 215 million dollars (million dollars), 113,000 square meters (m2) of industrial space and will generate more than 4,500 direct jobs.

Autoliv, a specialist in the development of safety auto parts such as belts, airbags and steering wheels, will have a new manufacturing plant in the FINSA Aguascalientes Industrial Park.

It is worth mentioning that trade and investment exchange between Mexico and Europe has been favored since the implementation of the Free Trade Agreement between Mexico and the European Union in 2000.

This is part of the ‘Global Agreement’, and whose modernization is key to the consolidation of bilateral trade, especially in the manufacturing sector.

Together with the T-MEC, both treaties offer European companies the opportunity to integrate their supply chains to achieve industrial complementation with North America, this point being one of the most challenging in the current post-pandemic scenario.
