The Real Estate Investment Trusts (Fibras) sector, which is listed on the local stock exchange, reached a market capitalization of 312,319 million pesos as of December 29, 2021, according to data from Amefibra.
Fibra Uno, which was the first to be listed on the Stock Market and which has 10.8 million square meters of gross profitable area, is positioned as the issuer with the highest value among public real estate trusts, by consolidating a market cap of 80.5 billion pesos.

The second trust with the highest market value is Fibra Educa, which rents educational establishments that operate under brands such as ICEL University, reaching a market capitalization of 44,000 million pesos.
Fibra Prologis, dedicated to industrial real estate, was placed as the third with the highest capitalization in the Stock Market, adding 39,000 million pesos in the referred period.
The three smallest fibers in terms of size in the stock market are Fibra HD, which recently sold 71% of its outstanding capital stock to Fibra Plus, as well as Fibra Inn, which focuses on the hotel sector and Fibra Upsite , from the industrial sector.
Each of the three registers a market value of 2,000 million pesos.

"Investing in Fibras is a novel and unique option in the market that allows Mexicans to increase their wealth without the need to invest large amounts of capital and without the risk that other investment instruments represent," indicated the Mexican Association of Real Estate Fibers (Amefiber).
The association is made up of 16 real estate trusts, which operate real estate in sectors such as commercial, industrial, office, hotel, and educational.
