Fibra Uno is getting ready to achieve a 20% reduction in Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions in its properties by 2030 as part of its sustainability strategy.
According to the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), the energy consumed in buildings generates around 30% of GHGs.

They have donated more than 58 million pesos in social initiatives, benefiting more than 15 thousand people directly and 814 thousand indirectly.
In their 2020 sustainability report they report on the progress of their objectives, such as the decrease in energy intensity of 36.6%, 51.4% in water intensity and 43% in emissions compared to the base registered in 2018.
Funo carries out the calculation of the amount of emissions generated per square meter occupied in the properties that it has under lease, since this indicator allows to know the emissions generated with respect to the occupation of its properties and provides a real idea of the efficiency of emissions in our properties
In its sustainability strategy, the company details that the 4.5% reduction in its energy intensity is due 86% to Fibra Uno's efforts and 14% to the response of its tenants and their commitment to implement good practices in their spaces.
Some good practices include turning off lights and equipment when leaving the office, implementing mass transit systems for your employees, reducing the number of elevators used outside of business hours, to name a few actions.

Until last year, as part of these practices, they had installed 102 charging stations for electric vehicles in their properties in Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey, in alliance with different automotive companies.
They currently have 4 projects registered with the US Green Building Council (USGBC) to obtain the LEED O + M certification, which represents 21% of their goal to certify 1 million additional square meters.
These properties correspond to the well-known Torre Mexicana, Corporativo Samara, Punta Santa Fe and Torre Quartz, located in Mexico City.
