Fibra Plus announced that it acquired half of the stake in the Founder and Control Trust (Fifun) of Fibra HD to continue with its integration.

With the acquisition, Fibra Plus acquires the right to appoint the Chairman of the HD Technical Committee and members of the Fibra HD Technical Committee. It will also receive 50% of the Poison Pill (a strategy to discourage hostile acquisitions), the company said.

"The sole objective of the operation was to enable the possibility of submitting to the consideration of the Fibra HD Holders the opportunity to carry out the business combination with less dissolution," he added.

If both businesses are completed, the portfolio would be made up of 58 properties.
