Fibra Nova, a real estate investment trust diversified in the retail, education, industrial and agribusiness sectors, has disbursed nearly 430 million pesos (mp) in property acquisitions this year.
The buildings that the firm bought that belong to the Bafar Group, dedicated to the production of meat products, are located in the cities of Chihuahua and Ciudad Juárez, and are dedicated especially for industrial use.

“Our vocation is primarily industrial, it is the sector that we like the most. We are betting heavily on the entire export sector because it is one of the most resilient sectors,” said Luis Carlos Piñón, in charge of investor relations at Fibra.
In Chihuahua, at the beginning of January, the trust acquired 7.3 hectares that will allow the expansion of the Bafar Technological Park, located in said city, with which it will add 21 hectares available in total.

Fibra Nova currently has 526 thousand square meters (m2) of land for the development of new projects. The trust expects to close with one thousand million pesos in rental income this year.
Fibra Nova owns a portfolio made up of 109 properties and a total of 521,336 m2 of Gross Leasable Area (GLA) and 1,653 hectares of the agro-industrial portfolio.
