Fibra MTY plans new acquisitions

Fibra MTY has called a meeting of holders to be held on October 21 in which it will submit to a vote the conclusion of one or several credit or financing contracts that can be simple, revolving, structured, syndicated, club deal, with one or more financial institutions or banking in Mexico or abroad.

Some of the banks can be BBVA Bancomer, Banorte and Scotiabank, to name a few institutions.

"The destination of the resources will be mainly for future acquisitions of properties, costs and expenses of the line," said Fibra MTY in a notice to the market.

The financing will be contracted for a term of five years and a single payment at maturity and will pay an interest close to the interest rate of Libor for one month, as well as an additional yield that will range from 235 to 285 basis points, depending on of the level of liabilities and assets of the investment trust.

Fibra MTY said that it will be able to dispose of the resources within a period of 12 months from the signing, each of them for a minimum amount of 10 million dollars.

"The terms and conditions that the Fibra MTY or Fibra MTY administrator deems appropriate, as long as said terms and conditions comply with the provisions of the trust and the applicable regulations," the company stated.

Fibra Mty closed the second quarter of 2021 with 59 properties in its portfolio, including 19 for office use, 34 for industrial use and 6 for commercial use.

It registered a total of 749 thousand 564 square meters of gross profitable area and an occupancy rate was 90.5%, as of June 30, 2021.
