In order to meet the growing demand and improve its infrastructure, Estafeta announced that it will make an investment of 2,108 million pesos in 2022.
During a press conference, Ingo Babrikowski, CEO, explained that this figure is 150 million pesos more than what was reported in 2021, with which the company breaks its record again.
Likewise, he explained that of the total investment, 70% will be destined for the acquisition of 1,200 vehicles for the expansion and renewal of the fleet, of which 313 will be heavy and 887 light, which will include between 30 and 35 electric vehicles.
As for the remaining 30%, 20% will be used in infrastructure, that is, for operating centers, points of sale and expansions at the national level. While 10% will be allocated to technology development.

According to Babrikowski, Estafeta recorded double-digit growth in 2021 compared to 2020, driven by e-commerce.

While in markets like China the percentage reaches 50%; in the United States between 19 and 20% and in Europe, the average is 16%.
