Scale culminates industrial building in Parque Hubs Park Apodaca

Escala successfully completed the construction of the Hubs Park Apodaca in Nuevo León, which has about 18,500 square meters and was carried out over 12 months.

As part of its expansion plan, the company from Monterrey participated in the direction and execution of the project for this industrial warehouse, the first development of the real estate company MEOR, in the northeast area of the entity.

With an area of 35,000 square meters and an investment of 300 million pesos, this project is expected to house national and international companies from the manufacturing, automotive, and logistics sectors.

Previously, two companies, one from the automotive sector and the other from the air conditioning sector, signed a lease agreement for the industrial buildings before completing the work, which reflects a high demand for this type of industrial spaces and Distribution Centers that Nearshoring is promoting. .

The location of the industrial park is privileged, since it is in an area of high industrial demand for class A industrial buildings, which are hybrids, and their dimensions make them compatible with merchandise storage and manufacturing companies.

Pedro Valdés, CEO of Escala, highlights the attractiveness of the border states, mainly Nuevo León, in the face of nearshoring, which this year received more than 4.240 million dollars of capital from abroad, corresponding to 90 companies.

For his part, Javier Camarena, general director of the MEOR firm, who inaugurated the work at the end of November, specified that they hope to end the year with 160,000 rentable square meters, with the aim of meeting the high demand from new companies arriving in Mexico as nearshoring will continue to increase during 2023.

According to data from the Ministry of Economy, throughout 2022 a total of 88,757 jobs were created. The predominant sectors are manufacturing, with 38%; the automotive industry, with 20%; logistics, furniture and information technologies with 8, 7 and 6 percent.
