The Taiwanese company EOI Electronics held the groundbreaking ceremony for the installation of its new facility in the city of Querétaro. The company specializes in the manufacture of original LED components for cars and energy-saving lighting modules.

Allan Kuo, general director of the company, highlighted that Querétaro is one of the states with the most history and capacity for the industry. He also emphasized that EOI is currently responsible for supplying lighting equipment to around two million vehicles that they produce in North America.

For his part, the Secretary of Sustainable Development (SEDESU) Marco Antonio del Prete Tercero, pointed out that EOI Electronics represents an investment of 70 million dollars over a period of 5 to 7 years and meant the creation of 800 direct jobs.

The company is the first to set up in Ciudad Márquez, an industrial and commercial complex of the Frisa Group, which will be an industrial development of 130 hectares and an investment of more than 18 billion pesos.
