Webhelp, a firm specialized in commercial solutions and customer experience in the Contact Center industry, inaugurated its largest center in Latin America, in Mérida, Yucatán, with an investment of 20 million dollars. WebHelp has a presence in 60 countries with more than 125,000 collaborators.
Located in Torre Indico, north of the city of Mérida, Webhelp will generate 1,000 jobs in the state, a figure to which it will add 2,000 more employees in 2023, in a second phase of the project.

"Yucatán means an important commitment for us with a strong investment and next year we plan to double these investments, since the entity has advantages that provide us with security," said the CEO of Webhelp in Latin America, Manuel Aparicio.
Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal stressed that the world's leading companies bet on Yucatan to develop their projects, demonstrating their confidence in the entity.
He also stressed that jobs will be generated not only in Mérida but also in the interior of the state in municipalities such as Progreso, Umán, Kanasín and Hunucmá, since it has a hybrid modality to work.
