The Amazon company is building its ninth distribution center or CEDI in Mexico and the second in the north of the country, located in Tijuana, Baja California.
It is a building with an area of 32 thousand square meters, within the Real Estate Management and Services Group (RMSG) industrial park.
With its opening, significant savings in costs and delivery times of its products are expected, in addition to increasing the job offer in the entity.
The construction supervisor, María Cortez, showed the facilities to the Secretary of Economic Development SEDETI of Tijuana, Gabriel Camarena Salinas.

During the tour, he noted the progress of the facilities in which an average of 21 million dollars were invested and the creation of 250 new jobs. It is expected to come into operation in September of this year.
For her part, the municipal president, Karla Patricia Ruiz Macfarland, said that, through SEDETI, she relied on the management to finalize the opening.
He added that the project is part of the actions promoted to attract investment to Tijuana, promoting economic reactivation and well-being.
