The German logistics services company Dachser continues to grow in Mexico and recently opened new offices in Puebla, a maturing market that currently represents 25% of its operation in the country.

The German firm has a presence in Mexico City, Querétaro, Guadalajara and Monterrey, and has plans to expand into the Yucatán peninsula next year.

Dachser's value proposition for the market it serves in Puebla is located in consolidated logistics services that start in Hamburg, Germany, connecting with the port of Veracruz and finally unconsolidated at the Puebla customs, all in a period of five weeks.

Edgardo Hamon, managing director of Dachser Mexico, explained that the firm's objective is to further consolidate its services globally, since they have different projects on the horizon to boost Mexico's growth, especially the service from Europe to Mexico, especially in the poblana region. And he pointed out the importance of the fact that the Consolidated Maritime Service that Dachser has is unique in the market, it should be noted that the company of German origin is a pioneer in this service.

“Puebla is an office that offers different services to our clients, not only in the Maritime or Air sector, but also in Land, Customs and CL. Thus offering a complete supply chain to its customers. Without a doubt, with this we seek to generate a more solid presence in the market”, assured Edgardo Hamon.

After practically four years with double-digit growth, breaking record after record, this year will not be the exception, since the logistics services company envisions ending 2022 with better numbers than the previous cycle.

In Mexico, the global nearshoring trend continues to grow, which also represents an opportunity for Dachser, which will seek to have a presence in companies that decide to relocate their operations to Mexican soil, especially with the clients they already have in Europe and Asia.

The company will be very present to also offer production line services, which the German company has focused on in recent years and thus be able to offer added value in project movements. In 2023, Dachser will be committed to continue investing and consolidating its services and expanding the range of services it offers, even in the midst of uncertainty.
