Fanuc, a company of Japanese origin that offers industrial automation products and services, inaugurated its new technological center in Aguascalientes, a project for which it made an investment of 13 million dollars (mdd).

These new facilities have an operating area of more than 10,000 square meters, including offices, a manufacturing warehouse and warehouses.

According to Mike Cicco, president and CEO of FANUC America, with this expansion they seek to improve the service for their customer base in the automotive, aerospace, consumer goods and other manufacturers in Mexico and Latin America who are looking for automation solutions. .

With this complex, the company adds 270 points around 109 countries around the world.

For his part, Martín Orozco Sandoval, governor of the entity, emphasized that companies decide to invest in Aguascalientes due to its geographical location, its climate of security and social peace, as well as the educational level of university students and their specialized profile.

In this sense, he thanked the businessmen for once again placing their trust in the state.

In addition, he highlighted that FANUC and Aguascalientes share the vision of diversifying to grow and transcend new borders, and assured that the talent of the region's inhabitants is ready to respond to said demand and collaborate with the firm in the development of robotic innovations that raise the competitiveness of the different productive sectors.

During his participation, Yoshiharu Inaba, president of FANUC Corporation, commented that with the opening of this plant the company reaffirms its main commitment and value, which is to provide excellent service to its customers.

It should be noted that the start of construction took place in April 2021, and today, almost 15 months after the first stone, the firm begins operations.
