In 2024, new investments in Data Centers are planned in Querétaro

The head of the Secretariat of Sustainable Development (Sedesu) of Querétaro, Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero, announced that 18 Data Centers are in the process of being installed in the state.

The head of the Secretariat of Sustainable Development (SEDESU) of Querétaro, Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero, announced that 18 Data Centers are in the process of being installed in the state.

According to Del Prete, this project represents an energy capacity of 613 megawatts and a total investment of more than 8.5 billion dollars.

The state official also pointed out that Querétaro has established itself as the 'valley of data centers', being a reference in the matter.

On the other hand, the head of SEDESU announced the construction of six Cloud HQ buildings, a company that when installed in the state will generate a significant investment of US$3.6 billion.

This project will also create more than 600 full-time jobs, 1,000 temporary jobs and 250 jobs related to electrical infrastructure.
