The Querétaro Automotive Cluster recognized Tier 1 companies: Dana de México, Harman, Nihon Plast Mexicana, Hirschvogel Components México, Steeringmex, Tremec and BRP, as Leaders in supplier development.

Within the framework of the event to close the cluster's projects and award awards to its partner companies, Renato Villaseñor, president of the organization, praised the actions of these companies.

These companies have become allies for the implementation of programs and projects for the benefit of companies in the automotive sector, which are located at the base of the supply pyramid.

In addition, the cluster reported in its communication channels, the leader of this industry in Querétaro praised the work of the purchasing and supplier companies, whose efforts, described as heroic, maintained the economy and strength of the state in the face of the Covid 19 pandemic.

State Sustainable Development (Sedesu) Marco Antonio del Prete Tercero, recognized the work of the Querétaro Automotive Cluster, who, with the support of the state government, launched various projects during 2021.

The main projects were the Circular Economy System, the Experimental Test Track, in alliance with the Mexican Institute of Transportation, the organization of the Automotive Supplier Conference, where four purchasing companies made more than 150 business appointments, as well as mapping and surveys of the automotive sector and the celebration of the Human Resources Symposium.

"Clusters are the perfect definition of the Triple Helix, because they integrate industry, academia, through universities and training institutes, and the government, whose task is to facilitate the work of entrepreneurs, who are the ones who risk and invest in Querétaro ”, he stated.

The meeting was attended by, in addition to the cluster members and recognized companies, Gerardo Perales, Tec Milenio teaching coordinator; and Miji Dorrbecker, a Queretaro Lamborghini driver.
