Foreign investment of Spanish origin did not stop and this year new companies will arrive in the Center-West area, since 20 companies from the technology, energy, construction and automotive sectors intend to invest in the Bajío area, said Laura Carmen Tamargo Quílez, director of the Center-West Delegation of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce.
In addition, Tamargo announced that 40 percent of the companies installed in El Bajío registered growth.
“We are seeing an expansion of plants…it is a very good thing because not only do we see investment coming from Spain, but also the size of the companies that have invested in recent years is increasing, a very gratifying fact because despite the pandemic we see a growth”, considered Tamargo.
