During its participation in the Hannover Messe industrial fair, the Jalisco delegation, made up of businessmen and local authorities, made an investment of 6 million dollars that will be allocated to the expansion of German companies installed in the state.
These are the high-tech companies TH Automotive and Vectralis Baumann, which belong to the automotive and robotics industry and both will invest in industrial infrastructure that will allow them to expand their operations, said the general strategic coordinator of Growth and Economic Development of Jalisco, Xavier Orendáin De Obeso.
He stressed that the work carried out in Germany to position Jalisco as a destination for investment gave positive results.

Reality shows us that internationalization is a correct path and that our state is seen as a reliable destination, of certainty and open to investment”, commented the official from Jalisco.
Meanwhile, the director of the Association of Industrial Parks of Jalisco (APIEJ), Javier Lemarroy, stressed that a key factor in attracting foreign investment to the state is collaboration between the public and private sectors.
He assured that the presence of businessmen and the government at the Hannover fair generated a greater impact in the promotion of Jalisco with companies from the industrial, advanced manufacturing, automotive and robotics sectors.
According to the head of the Secretariat for Economic Development (Sedeco), Roberto Arechederra, the internationalization strategy to attract new investments to the entity goes hand in hand with the project to turn the state into the country's logistics hub.
He explained that to achieve this, the entity needs to have elements such as an airport robust enough for both cargo and passengers, several dry ports.

“The airport is already there; we are the most important freight transport airport in the country and very important investments are being made by Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico; second, there must be several dry ports, that is why we are going to have the first dry port in Acatlán de Juárez,” Arechederra Pacheco said in an interview with El Economista.
He stressed that the unit works in coordination with the Secretary of Communications and Transportation of the federal government in the railway department and with the Customs Directorate to expedite the transfer of merchandise from the port of Manzanillo to Jalisco.
